Bicep Heart Pose

Flex one arm, curl your other hand into a C and rest it on top of the bicep: the hand draws one side of a heart and the muscle draws the other. Here is how to get the bicep heart pose right on camera, and how to skip the filming and make the video from one photo.

What is the bicep heart pose?

The bicep heart pose is the move from the TikTok bicep heart trend. You raise one arm and flex it with the fist near your head, then cup your free hand and place it on top of the flexed bicep with the fingers pointing at the fist. Seen from the front, the curve of your fingers and the curve of the muscle close into a heart.

How to do it

The bicep heart pose in 4 steps

  1. 1

Face the camera from the waist up. Prop the phone at chest height or ask a friend to hold it, so both your arms fit in the frame.

  2. 2

Lift one arm out to the side and bend it until your fist is near your ear. Squeeze the bicep and turn it slightly toward the lens.

  3. 3

Shape your other hand into a C: thumb underneath, four fingers together on top, like half of a finger heart.

  4. 4

Rest that hand on the top of the bicep, fingertips pointing toward your fist. Adjust until the gap between your fingers and the muscle looks like a heart, then hold it and smile.

Variations

Bicep heart pose variations

One arm + hand (the original)

One flexed bicep and the opposite hand curled on top. This is the version most trend videos use, and the one our AI video follows.

Two arms

Flex both arms in front of you and bring the forearms together so the two biceps form the round top of the heart. Harder to read on camera, but it looks great in a mirror selfie.

With a partner

Each person flexes the arm closest to the other and you press your fists together, so your two arms make one big heart between you.

The slow reveal

For video: start with relaxed arms and a small smile, flex at about the 2-second mark, and land the heart around 4 seconds so it hits with the sound.

Fix it

Why your bicep heart does not look like a heart

The arm faces the wrong way

If the elbow points at the camera, the bicep disappears. Turn the inside of the arm toward the lens.

The hand is flat

A flat palm makes a line, not a curve. Cup the fingers so they bend over the top of the muscle.

The fist is too low

With the fist below the shoulder, the heart turns into a sideways blob. Keep the fist up near your ear.

Half the pose is out of frame

The trick only works when the whole flexed arm and the hand are in the shot. Step back or zoom out.

FAQ

Bicep heart pose FAQ

Do I need big biceps for the bicep heart pose?

No. The heart comes from the curve of the hand against the arm, so it reads on any arm. Angle matters more than size: turn the flexed arm slightly toward the camera.

Which arm should I flex?

Either one. Most people flex the arm on the side of their stronger hand and use the other hand to make the curve, because the curl is easier to control.

Can I do the bicep heart pose in a photo instead of a video?

Yes. Hold the final position (fist up, hand curled on the bicep) and take the picture from the front at chest height. See our bicep heart picture guide for more tips.

Can AI make the bicep heart pose for me?

Yes. Add one waist-up photo at the top of this page, with both arms in view, and the AI makes a 7-second video of you doing the pose, with the trend sound and caption. It takes about 5 to 7 minutes.

What is the two-arm bicep heart?

A variation where you flex both arms and bring the forearms together so the two biceps make the top of the heart. The one-arm version with the hand on the bicep is the one most trend videos use.
